Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

The primary Roles, Responsibilities and challenges in this position are:
- Develop test cases and test packs that meet the requirements of functionalities built by the R&D team.
- Increase scope of testing for functionality already built
- Improve the quality assurance environment and implement new procedures.
- Execute tests that help make informed decisions on the quality of the product.
- Execute different types of testing, including functionality testing, usability testing, and scenario based testing, role based testing, regression testing etc.
- Execute defect/bug validations
- Review functional requirements so to assure that test cases and scenarios can be built using them
- Develop automatic test scripts used for regression testing

Our ideal candidate recognises him- or herself in below profile:
- Computer science or Finance degree, with minimally 3 years experience as a test engineer
- Hands on test experience of Java applications, relying on application Servers and DB platforms
- Knowledge of, or clear interest in, the finance domain is an asset
- Hands on experience with automated test tooling such as QuickTestPro.
- Familiar with Operating Systems (Windows, Linux and Solaris).
- Knowledge of the product quality assurance concepts & methodologies
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Good verbal and written English
